DAY 1 - Athens
Welcome to Greece!
Upon arrival, gather your bags and meet your private transfer to your hotel! Conveniently located, explore the Monastiraki and Plaka districts, visit Parliament and observe the hourly Changing of the Guard, or relax on the rooftop patio and toast the beginnings of a fabulous trip while soaking in the views of the Acropolis!
DAY 2 - Athens
Become acquainted with Athens’ famous historic attractions at your own pace today with your 24-hour hop-on hop-off ticket.
Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Centre: The Acropolis. Dating back to the Bronze Age, this ancient citadel that sits above the city is one of the world’s most famous archaeological sites and is home to the Parthenon, a marble temple dedicated to the Greek Goddess Athena. Also stop to explore the Temple of Zeus, the National Gardens, and then follow the footsteps of Olympians past and run a lap around the Panathenaic Stadium!
DAY 3 - Tolo
Say goodbye to the city and venture on to the seaside town of Tolo! Your private transfer will stop enroute at the Corinth Canal, a narrow man-made shipping canal connecting the Gulf of Corinth and the Saronic Gulf.
Upon arrival in Tolo, spend the afternoon as you wish. Visit one of the many beaches for swimming and watersports, or lounge around the cafes and savour some delicious Greek food.
DAY 4 - Tolo
Depart Tolo today by boat for the picturesque islands of Hydra and Spetses!
Spend 3 hours in Hydra, uniquely known for its absence of cars. Be sure to make a stop at the Rolo Café by the port where Leonard Cohen held his first concert with his guitar and a handful of friends in the audience. After Hydra, you will move on to Spetses to explore the stone streets, visit local cafes, or go for a swim!
DAY 5 - Tolo
Spend today at your leisure.
DAY 6 - Tolo
Make your way to Nafplio today and tour the town through your tastebuds on your 3-hour foodies tour!
Walk to the most beautiful sites of the old city of Nafplio, learn their history and along with the city tour discover hidden culinary treasures. Visit carefully selected food shops and taste some of the finest delicacies, cheeses, wines, coffees and ice creams available in the city. At the end of the tour, take the rest of the day to explore Nafplio on your own, be sure to visit Palamidi Castle and climb the 857 steps to the top for rewarding views of Nafplio and the Argolic Gulf!
DAY 7 - Tolo
Enjoy Tolo at your own pace. Consider renting a boat and cruise the Greek waters for the afternoon!
DAY 8 - Tolo
Today you’ll visit the endless vineyards of Nemea, the place where Hercules killed the lion and performed the first of his 12 labors, and taste the secrets of wine and winemaking.
Learn about the Nemean games at the archaeological site of Nemea and its stadium, and then visit 2 local wineries to taste unique varieties of wine, accompanied by Greek delicacies. Meet their producers and discuss with them the details of wine-making in the Greek land.
DAY 9
A cultural day ahead exploring the archaeology of ancient Greece, 4th century amphitheaters, and ancient ruins with a visit Mycenae and Epidaurus!
Starting your trip from Nafplio, your first stop is the archaeological site of Mycenae. You will travel to the mythical Kingdom of Agamemnon, where one of the most brilliant cultures of Greek prehistory, the Mycenaean civilization. You will then head to the Lions Gate, the monumental entrance of the palaces.
You will continue on to ancient Epidaurus to explore the ancient theatre of one of the most famous archaeological monuments in Greece. You will also visit the Asclepieion of Epidaurus, which was the centre of healing serious diseases for the whole of ancient Greece. Many monuments developed around it, most notably the temple of Asklepios, Tholos and others.
DAY 10 - Tolo
Enjoy a free day in Tolo as your trip is winding down.
DAY 11 - Athens
Return to Athens today with your private transfer and pick up some last- minute souvenirs at the markets before your final dinner in Greece.
DAY 12 - Home
All good things must come to an end including your vacation in Greece. Meet your driver this morning and return to the airport according to your flight times.
