As of July 3rd, 2020 the Atlantic bubble has allowed travel for residents between New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland & Labrador without the 14 day self-isolation requirement. Each province has entry guidelines travellers must be aware of and complete to avoid issues or delays upon entry. Screening of travellers entering New Brunswick
All travellers, including those entering from the other Atlantic provinces, will continue to be screened at interprovincial points of entry into New Brunswick and will be asked for proof of province of residence. Providing this information will support Public Health’s tracing efforts in the event of a case or an outbreak of COVID-19. If you are planning to entre the province, please come prepared with the required documents for travel into New Brunswick.
Acceptable proof of Atlantic residency: (one of the following)
- Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, or Prince Edward Island driver’s licence
- Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, or Prince Edward Island government identification card
- Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, or Prince Edward Island employee identification card
- Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, or Prince Edward Island Medicare card
- Other:
- Utility Bill – phone, internet, electricity, cable, water/sewer or a home heating fuel invoice (oil, natural gas, propane, etc.).

Every adult will need to show either a drivers’ licence, government identification card, health card, or a utility bill or bank statement with a valid Atlantic Canadian address to provincial officials at airports, ferries or the land border when they arrive in the province. No self-declaration form will be required.
Prince edward island

For visitors from other Atlantic provinces
Visitors coming to Prince Edward Island will need to complete the self-declaration form (find link below on July 2) including the following information:
- Atlantic Canadian residence
- Arrival and departure date and contact information
- Travelers’ names
- Health declaration
Be prepared for travelling delays at entry points to PEI due to processing during periods of heavy traffic.
What do I need to travel to Prince Edward Island?
For efficient processing, permanent Atlantic Canadian residents are asked to complete the self-declaration form at least one to two days in advance of arriving at a PEI entry point with required identification and printed documentation, as follows:
1. Personal government-issued ID for each member of the travelling party.
2. One copy of the Preview page (page 3) of this online form per travelling party or vehicle. Be sure to print this page before submitting the form.
3. One print copy of Submission ID per travelling party or vehicle that you will receive after completing the form online.
Newfoundland and labrador

The province of Newfoundland and Labrador will require two pieces of identification to verify that a traveller is a resident in the Atlantic bubble.
At least one piece of identification must include an address.
The province said that visitors from other Atlantic Canadian provinces must also complete the contact information section on the province’s self-declaration form, which can be found on their website.
