DAY 2

Hanging Bridges, La Fortuna Waterfall and Chocolate Tour

Your day will start in the canopy of Arenal’s. You have not really seen the rainforest until you’ve seen the canopy. The treetops are the most ecologically diverse part of the rainforest.

Next you will head to the La Fortuna Waterfall, walk down a flight of 500 stairs and jump into the cool pool at the waterfalls base.

Afterwards you will visit a local family for a typical Costa Rican lunch, before heading to a cacao plantation, learning about the role of chocolate in Costa Rica’s economy and culture.

DAY 3

Ziplining and Rafting Tour

Flying through the tops of the trees with top speeds of 37 m/h, you can experience zip lining on different lengths and different heights of cables.

The licensed guides will help you with the equipment and give you information beforehand on how to use the equipment safely. Enjoy over 11 cables and platforms, the tour is ideal for all ages and had two kilometers of cable.

The Balsa River is a white water river which has class II and III rapids. Along your rafting adventure you will see lots of exotic animals, like monkeys, toucans and some exotic birds.

Following the tour, make our way back to the hotel for some much-needed relaxation!

DAY 4

Guanacaste to Samara Beach

Following breakfast, board the bus and make your way to Samara beach.

The drive time today is approximately 4 hours but stops along the way will break up the drive

Check-in to your hotel in Samara and then head down to the beach for a beautiful sunset.

Kayak and Snorkel Tour

Just off Samara’s coast lies Chora Island—a haven of white sand beach and aquamarine water. This kayak and snorkel tour allows you to easily paddle to Chora Island, where you can dive in the water, snorkel, and experience Costa Rica’s rich sea life.
