DAY 1 - November 10, 2021
Arrive in Bangkok
Welcome to Thailand!
Upon arrival, make your way to your hotel on the famous Khao San Road in the heart of bustling Bangkok! After check in, take in the street markets and vendors of this lively district before settling in for the night.
DAY 2 – November 11, 2021
Bangkok - Tuk Tuk Temple Tour
Visit attractions in old Bangkok that most visitors miss on your half-day tour by tuk-tuk. Traveling on Thailand’s iconic 3-wheeled motorbike allows you to breeze through traffic and access narrow streets with more ease than larger vehicles. Stops include The Golden Mount (Wat Saket), the Giant Swing, and Phra Sumeru Fortress on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, and your guide shares commentary along the way.
DAY 3 – November 12, 2021
Bangkok to Krabi
It is time to leave the city and make your way to the Islands! Meet your transfer to the airport for your flight to the sun-soaked beaches of Krabi! Upon arrival your transfer will deliver you to your hotel where you can relax oceanside. Enjoy the evening shopping around town and enjoying some local street food!
DAY 4 – November 13, 2021
Railay Beach
Today is a free day for you to soak up the sun, eat some delicious food and do whatever you like!
DAY 5 – November 14, 2021
Railay Beach to Khao Sok National Park
Today you’ll visit Khao Sok National Park, a nature reserve in southern Thailand containing dense virgin jungle, tower-like limestone karst formations and the man-made Cheow Lan Lake. It’s home to rare species such as the giant parasitic Rafflesia flower, hornbill birds, gibbons and tigers. The park can be explored by hiking trail, raft, canoe or kayak via the Sok river.
DAY 6 – November 15, 2021
Khao Sok Bungalows & Wildlife Safari
Following pick-up from your hotel in Khao Lak, head to the Takuapa local market to browse the products. From there, you’ll continue to the elephant rescue camp. Feed these amazing animals bananas and cool them off with a bath. Next, you’ll visit the monkey temple before dining on a Thai lunch at the local restaurant next to the river before bamboo rafting along the Khao Sok river. Enjoy as your guides gently glide the bamboo rafts downstream as you admire the dramatic limestone mountains and serene sounds of the jungle. Stop at the river bank for some trekking and cave exploration after enjoying a coffee break. At the end of your tour, transfer back to your hotel in Khao Lak.
DAY 7 – November 16, 2021
Khao Sok - Koh Samui
It is time to say good-bye to Khao Sok and make your way to the beautiful beaches of Koh Samui. Check into your hotel and explore the area as you choose! Before the tourist era, Koh Samui relied on fishery and coconut plantation. The island was once referred to as “island of coconuts and monkeys”. Although these days, visitors still see coconut trees on the hill, there is not much coconut cultivated area left on the island.
DAY 8 – November 17, 2021
Koh Samui
Today is all about you! Spend the day any way you choose! Koh Samui, Thailand’s second largest island, lies in the Gulf of Thailand off the east coast of the Kra Isthmus. It’s known for its palm-fringed beaches, coconut groves and dense, mountainous rainforest, plus luxury resorts and posh spas. The landmark 12m-tall golden Big Buddha statue at Wat Phra Yai Temple is located on a tiny island connected to Koh Samui by a causeway.
DAY 9 – November 18, 2021
Koh Samui - Snorkeling & Kayaking Tour
Cruise the Angthong Marine Park by speedboat on a day-long snorkel and kayak tour from Koh Samui. Navigate between the archipelago’s 42 islands, and come ashore to explore limestone caves, karst cliffs and rock formations that rise from sheltered lagoons. Slip into clear water to snorkel above radiant coral and shimmering fish, then paddle a kayak along the coastline of a remote, uninhabited island. Pause for a traditional Thai lunch on Ko Wah Talap, and idle away the afternoon in the soft sand of a perfect beach. Following the tour, you are free to spend the rest of the day as you choose!
DAY 10 – November 19, 2021
Koh Samui - Chaing Mai (Loy Krathong Festival)
It is time to bid farewell to the islands and head to the North! Meet your transfer to the airport for your flight to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival we will meet your transfer to the hotel and get settled in before taking part in Thailand’s famous Festival of Lights, the Loy Krathong Festival!
Celebration involves various rituals at the Buddhist temples around Chiang Mai, but the most famous and popular part is the launching of a krathong – a floating lantern carrying candles and joss sticks, as well as all of your wishes.
As any large body of water is illuminated with thousands of little lights, it creates a magical, wondrous sight.
DAY 11 – November 20, 2021
Chiang Mai
Today is free for you to explore Chiang Mai as you choose.
DAY 12 & 13 – November 21 & 22, 2021
Chiang Mai - Hill Tribe Trek
Today you will join a 2 day/1 night trek that has a little bit of everything! You’ll visit hot springs, waterfalls, bamboo rafts, the Karen Hill-tribe and of course, ELEPHANTS!
Hike the lush jungle and stop along the way at the hot springs and waterfalls. Spend the night in a bamboo hut in the jungle and wake up in the morning to elephants before boarding your bamboo raft to glide down the river marking the end of the tour.
Check in to your hotel in Chiang Mai for the evening.
DAY 14 – November 23, 2021
Chiang Mai - Free Day
This is your last day in Thailand so enjoy at your leisure.
An absolute must try is the khoa soi from Kanjana Restaurant. Finish your meal off with a banana pancake from one of the many street vendors. You will not be disappointed!
DAY 15 – November 24, 2021
Chiang Mai to Home
Make your way to the airport according to your flight time and begin your journey home with memories of pad thai, elephants and lanterns!
